 VPC youth are…

Mission Oriented:

• Last summer a group of our high schoolers went Mexico to work with partner Presbyterians in the city of Merida.  The third Sunday of each month we serve food to the homeless at the Hope Center in Lexington.  Our middle schoolers took a trip to Arkansas to visit Heifer ranch to learn about ways we as Christians can help to solve global problems like poverty, overpopulation and hunger.   

Inclusive and Welcoming:

• One of the most defining characteristics is that everyone is welcome at Versailles Presbyterian Church.  Faith is a journey.  No matter where you are in your faith journey, your values and beliefs will always be respected.

The Life of the Party:

• Who says church has to be boring?  VPC youth worship God and have a blast along the way.  We have been seen traveling all across the country from New York City to Savannah, Georgia.  You may find us around the state riding roller coasters at Kentucky Kingdom or hiking in the Red River Gorge.  We are also know how to bring the good times home to Woodford County with ice cream food fights, hayrides, cookouts and pool parties.

Serious about our Faith

• We recognize that developing a relationship with Christ does not happen overnight.  We continually work to strengthen our faith and grow closer to God.  We are not afraid to ask the difficult questions about our faith.
